On April 1, 2009, PokerPages.com merges with PokerSchoolOnline to give you all full access to a new "free" PokerPages Poker School and cardroom.

Pokerschool members have built a unique community over the past eight years and now you too can take part and enhance your poker abilities. The high level of play and experience you will encounter is unlike your usual freeplay cardrooms and with many new players (some beginning, some struggling, some refining their games), the new cardroom will offer a similar setting to what players will find at any online poker site or in a live casino setting. A unique mix of experience, skill, patience and discipline will be found in the new cardroom. Participants will find the tables rich in targets, and quite profitable to those who apply strategies and applications they have learned and continue to hone. In addition, a host of promotional incentives will be offered in the free cardroom. To earn sponsorship points, members will compete in various multi-table tournaments, sit n go’s and ring league competitions. The new cardroom with soon be abuzz with new players searching for the instruction and information that will turn them into a superb player within a short amount of time. They will be asking lots of questions in the forum and at the tables. Some members have long asked for tournaments with deeper fields and now they are nearly upon you.
Some current promotions are coming to an end in March, and new ones will be announced in the upcoming days. Sponsorship points will still be EARNED in the new cardroom, look for the many ways when the new promotions are announced by your new cardroom manager, PokerPagesKev. These include MTT Leagues, Sng Leagues and the continuation of the Ring Leagues, with further plans to expand these in upcoming months (adding HORSE, Stud, etc.).
