Panicky questioned this last month and never got a response. The wording is the same this time around, so could we please have some clarification on whether the $250 is a guarantee or an added sum.

Thanks John, I was happy to see something replace the 1k and I like this a lot. I started heavily playing 90man KO's early last year and found I had a definite advantage against other players in this tourney because of it. Now I read that PSO has decided to run these once a week and i am very excited. My only problem with this is that I found out about the KO tourneys through a PSO player and had no idea of them before yesterday. Please post info about these on the main home page so everyone knows. These are great tournaments for players to learn aggression and position plays, as well as picking up reads on greedy bounty thieves trying to isolate, lol

Trust me, if the US players were able to get in, I'd be in these in a heartbeat. I played a number of the 90 man KO's too before black friday... and actually my last 90+ man tourney BINK was one of them.
Any of the promotions, when they are announced, are put into the News from PSO and PS section, which is the one at the very top of the forum and there's a discussion thread for them created too (which obviously you've found, as this is it for the KO's).
I'll be more than happy to bring this up to the team in our next meeting, about putting them on the frontpage too, as I think that is a good idea.

I think there should be a banner on the site for this tourney as I have missed it both months and would play it if there was something reminding me of it. But it has to be out in the open as I don't
always go through every thread/post.

They've made a weekly now, shirshot, so should be a little harder to miss. Buy in has also been halved, bringing it into my price range, so I might roll up to one.

Ah, PSO does it again, with a $50 guarantee they wont have to dish out a cent for these. Thats just being cheap guys, how about an ADDED $50, that might help get people interested in these a bit more, but as it is, I dont see anyone caring much about these. I have to disagree with you. They have improved it by having it weekly instead of once a month.
It's easier to remember a weekly versus once a month.
You don't think that giving away Thousands $$$ a month is enough. Greedy Greedy Greedy
You also get a free forum to learn.
PSo could always give away more, but they could alway give away LESS.

hear ya dude....but this is a business, nothing is given away for free.

They have give aways to get more business, plain and simple, btw there is nothing wrong with that, it's a business.

if l own a bar, knowing that 30 peeps come on tue.

and l say if only 20 peeps show up l will buy the drinks,

they are also paying to get in, please remember there is rake in the Ko's

IMO l think it's just another bad sales move, most will see it, some won't
