Not A for me, I hate this spot, certainly not fist pumping.
I think our best case scenario is that wakou has the nut flush and we're splitting with him, or he's also got A3 and we're splitting with him. There are many times we're quartered though, and I can't see us ever scooping this pot given the action sequence by wakou. The other guy is a bit of a concern, but not so much, as his action sequence to this point screams A x, so I think he's done with this hand unless he's terrible or turned nut/nut and decided to check/raise it. Regardless, we are in a bad spot against wakou. Any time our most likely outcomes are half the pot or a quarter of the pot, and almost no scoops, I'm not happy. ![]() Dave |

re the turn action, here is how the hand played out....... SharkyMcShrk: folds agursen: raises $4.21 to $7.27 and is all-in wakou222: calls $4.21 *** RIVER *** [5h 8h 4c 2h Jh] *** SHOW DOWN *** agursen: shows [Kd 3h 2c Ah] (HI: a flush, Ace high; LO: 5,4,3,2,A) wakou222: shows [Ac 6c 8c 3c] (HI: a straight, Deuce to Six; LO: 5,4,3,2,A) agursen collected $8.44 from pot agursen collected $4.22 from pot wakou222 collected $4.22 from pot *** SUMMARY *** Total pot $17.76 | Rake $0.88 Board [5h 8h 4c 2h Jh] Seat 1: wakou222 showed [Ac 6c 8c 3c] and won ($4.22) with HI: a straight, Deuce to Six; LO: 5,4,3,2,A Seat 2: SharkyMcShrk folded on the Turn Seat 3: JOELEAN (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet) Seat 4: betojro0o (small blind) folded before Flop Seat 5: muck24 (big blind) folded before Flop Seat 6: agursen showed [Kd 3h 2c Ah] and won ($12.66) with HI: a flush, Ace high; LO: 5,4,3,2,A again, just felt this is an interesting spot and shows the weakness of the "bottom end naked wheel" (lol my own term)on a dangerous board. dont want to be results orientated but would be really keen to hear opinions on whether this is a good fold long term. |
