This is a test
I have an embeded code - lets see if that works <iframe title ="Preview" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" frameborder="0" width="320px" height="216px" style="padding:0;background-color:#fcfcfc;" src="https://skydrive.live.com/embed?cid=AD0EAD7CCFF90B28&resid=AD0EAD7CCFF90B28% 21481&authkey=AE0faYg6mQK9Wqs"></iframe> If a pic didn't show - I may need some advice on inserting pics in posts |

Hi King_spadez1!
To put a graphic in a post, you will first need to upload the pic to a site, for example photobucket, or I've used kodakgallery.com. Once the pic is uploaded, you can get a link to it, then insert the link into the forum post. Hope this helps, as it's what I did to get a pic on here. Is there any way to 'embed the files into a post?
With those links, are you able to see the rest of my private 'skydrive' pictures? |

King_spadez,
You can't embed a file, only picture, from the ones I've tried. If you could take a screenshot of only that part and then save that as a .jpg, then upload to a picture site.... then you can embed a picture. Or, take a screenshot, then edit it down in a photo program (if you have one), that would work too. Screen Hunter 5 is the free program that I was recommended by someone to get... it's worked good for me. with the links, you can click on the ones to the right and get into other stuff (saw it there, but didn't go into it). Hope this helps (if you want me to edit out the skydrive links, let me know and I'll be happy to do it for you. John (JWK24) Team PokerSchoolOnline - John - Super Moderator, Hand Analyzer

King spadez,
When you get the image uploaded, go to the picture tab (2nd line in a reply or new message that has 2 mountains on it). click it, then delete what's in blue, then paste in the address of the uploaded picture. John (JWK24) Team PokerSchoolOnline - John - Super Moderator, Hand Analyzer

Here you go: 1. Upload the photo to photobucket.com or other online space (Facebook might not be ideal as log-in is required) 2.Once uploaded, right click on image and select 'copy image URL' 3. In your PSO post hit the 'insert image' icon where you want the photo to go. 4. Paste the 'URL' into the box that popped up. Once you submit your post it will include the photo. Raiser |

Hello King_Spadez.
For the You Choose the ACTION thread sin the HA forums, What I use is photo bucket, and paste an IMG link. That allows a graphic to be posted directly in the forum as a picture. It is a free service to use. -JDean |

[IMG] [/IMG]Thanks everyone for helping!! Had to resize picture then upload it again (it was much too large). The image works fine here (a little out of focus after resizing) - but when I tried using it in my 'BLOG', I only got a blank square box (when previewed). For now I'm going to add the 'Link' from my 'Skydrive' upload (that was a good size and sharper), unfortunately it will not be an embeded picture. I'll play around some more during the week - going to get the blog updated - thanks again!! . |

I Have one warning about Uploading Picture's / Video's Text etc is that you may give them (site Loaded too eg: FaceBook, photo bucket, flickr etc) the right to use your data/material as they wish.
I wouldn't upload any data/material that you don't want others to gain access / rights to, and if you do, make a WATERMARK on pic/vid etc by your self; HOW TO: Protect your photos with watermarks http://pcworld.co.nz/pcworld/pcw.nsf...t=2,Copyrights or online example site; http://www.watermark.ws/ "If, as the ToS for the services listed above demonstrate, you grant them a license to your content explicitly, or implicitly by agreeing to their ToS, you’re also placing them in the shoes of the owner and allowing them to do what they will with your content, including, but not limited to, creating goods to sell." http://thenextweb.com/insider/2011/0...-sharing-apps/ "Sharing Your Content and Information You own all of the content and information you post on Facebook, and you can control how it is shared through your privacy and application settings. In addition: For content that is covered by intellectual property rights, like photos and videos (IP content), you specifically give us the following permission, subject to your privacy and application settings: you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content that you post on or in connection with Facebook (IP License). This IP License ends when you delete your IP content or your account unless your content has been shared with others, and they have not deleted it." http://www.facebook.com/legal/terms "Can I access my original images? If you have a free account, no one (including you) can access your original file. If you upgrade to a pro account, your original files are available for download. You can use the global setting in your account to specify who can download original files: Only you; your friends and/or family; your contacts; any Flickr user; or anyone." http://www.flickr.com/help/photos/ "But the problem is that under the new rules Facebook's 175 million users agree to let the company use any content they upload in any way Facebook choose. Even more importantly, the company can continue to do so even if you have deleted your account. So if you upload a picture of your family and Facebook want to use it in an advertising campaign, for example, there is nothing to stop them, even if you are no longer a member of Facebook." http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/culture...s_to_facebook/ "Further, the terms note that “You agree that this license includes a right for Google to make such Content available to other companies, organizations or individuals with whom Google has relationships for the provision of syndicated services, and to use such Content in connection with the provision of those services.” http://agbeat.com/real-estate-techno...tos-to-google/ http://www.photofacts.net/photograph...our_photos.asp http://www.jeremynicholl.com/blog/20...hotographer-2/ Google settles copyright lawsuits with publishers, authors http://pcworld.co.nz/pcworld/pcw.nsf...t=2,Copyrights Google News guilty of copyright violation http://pcworld.co.nz/pcworld/pcw.nsf...t=2,Copyrights Google's book grab http://blogs.pcworld.co.nz/pcworld/t...t=2,Copyrights Microsoft shuts down book search http://pcworld.co.nz/pcworld/pcw.nsf...t=2,Copyrights Its funny how some sites MegaUpLoad can get done(and shut down with 1000's use's losing there online data) for copyright infringements but Facebook, yahoo, Google, Microsoft etc can do (do what ever they wish with your photo's/Vid''s Text etc) the same and get away with it? |

I ended up using a link to my ‘Skydrive’ (a free service from MSN). Skydrive offers me selectivity to allow/or not, the selected content for viewing, downloading (original form), and editing. I chose this method because it showed the original picture (‘snapshot’ – Vista accessory), thus giving the sharpest image. Thanks for your time in preparing your post. My brother is a graphic artist, so I will be sure to let him know about the Facebook policy. . |
