Without looking at the rest of your hands, your K9s play in the first one is not good and will lose you chips in the long run. Suited connectors may look pretty but they will get you into a lot of trouble as you won't really know where you stand in a hand unless you flop really strong. As it was you flopped middle pair and chased to the river where you hit lucky. Your tournament life depended on the turn of one card, not ideal.
Suited connectors are good to get in cheap to hit and are also good to be raising and making moves with but not to be flat calling large raises with. As it happened you flopped middle pair but did you really think you were ahead? A9o has you out kicked while against trips your virtually dead. As it was, you were well behind to AA with only 5 outs to draw to. You were a 10/1 shot to hit the river, not good odds for your tournament life. Good luck for the future. BTW I've done the freeroll to $100 on several sites so it is possible if hard to achieve. |
