PSO Contributor Mark Napolitano
Mark Napolitano, co-founder of PokerSchool Online, began playing poker at the age of 15 in London, England. At that time, the main game was Pot Limit Stud.
At the age of 24 Mark won his first major poker tournament and was hooked, spending the next several years learning about tournaments. In the early nineties Mark attended his first World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
Mark has spent the past 6 years or so regularly playing major poker tournaments against the likes of T.J Cloutier, Phil Hellmuth, Johnny Chan, Men "The Master" Nguyen, Scotty Nguyen, and other world-class players.
"I have learned a lot about tournament play," says Mark. "I believe I am qualified to pass on advice to other players."
After the WSOP in 1999, Mark and his wife, Tina, decided to get into the internet and create a business that would teach players how to play poker. In October 2000 they launched www.PokerSchoolOnline.com as the result of 2 years' hard work and dedication.
"I would consider the list of winnings below my main tournament poker playing accomplishments," Mark says of his play. "However, I have won many smaller tournaments and had money finishes over the years all around the world."
