THE PROGRAM
Members of PokerSchool Online promote joining the School to friends. For each referred friend that joins PokerSchool Online and remains a member for 50 days (becomes a qualifying member), the referring member can choose to be awarded either: a check for US$10.00 (USA residents only), $10 toward extension of their membership (where $30=2 months membership), or have $100 added to their virtual bankroll within the school.
No! It's absolutely free to join the Program. There is no charge to apply and there are no minimum referral requirements to remain in the program.

Whenever a new member you referred completes 50 days of PokerSchool Online membership (is a qualifying member), you will receive a referral award.
You choose how you want your referral award to be paid: (1) Have $100 added to your virtual bankroll (the default), (2) Receive a $10 check in US Dollars (available only to residents of USA), (3) Extend your membership in PokerSchool Online by a monthly equivalent of $10 (where $30=2 months of membership).
Referrals are tallied during the last month of each quarter. Payments are issued to you at the end of the month following each quarter, whenever you exceed the 'Payment Threshold'. Read the next section on 'Payment Threshold'.
There is a 3 qualified member 'payment threshold' (minimum amount referrals in order to trigger payment). If you are below this threshold, your Awards are carried forward into the next quarter. When you reach or exceed the threshold, payment will be issued at the end of that quarter.
Example 1- Below Threshold- if at the end of a quarter you referred 2 qualifying memberships ($20/$200 virtual), and you selected to be paid by any of the 3 methods, you are below the threshold. So, your Referral Award Account balance (which is shown only in dollars, not virtual dollars) will be carried forward into the next quarter, where it will continue to be added onto.
Example 2- Above Threshold- Assume you already have $20 ($200 virtual) in your referral account, as described above. During the next quarter you refer one more qualifying member, so your Referral Award Account now has $30 ($300 virtual) in it. At the end of that quarter you will be paid according to the payment method you selected, as follows:
If you are outside the USA, you have the option to use your referral awards to extend your membership in PokerSchool Online, or extend your virtual bankroll in your School account.
Just go to the Tracking and Reporting System and change how you wish to be paid for each qualifying member you refer. Choose either: 'Membership' to have your membership extended in increments of $10 (where $30=2 months membership); 'Bankroll' to have your virtual bankroll within the School added to in increments of $100. You can do this even after you registered.
Whatever method is on record at the end of each quarter will be used to process your payment.
First, complete an Application, which includes accepting our Refer-a-Friend Agreement, providing information on you & your PokerSchool Online Username, and choosing a Password so you can access your account in the third party Tracking & Reporting System. You also need to select how you wish to be paid.
Within minutes, you'll receive an email with your Unique Referral ID number and Password (use these to log into the Tracking & Reporting System), a sample email to send friends ( be sure to insert your Unique Referral ID# into the email), and unique HTML code to use if you have a web site.
The Email will also point you to the online Tracking and Reporting System, where you can update your affiliate information, track your referrals and income, and, if you have a web site, get different marketing materials (school review, testimonials, articles, banners, text links, etc) to put on your web pages.
YES -You'll be issued a Unique Referral ID# that can be entered by friends during registration for the school, and tracked for your referral awards. Be sure to tell them to enter your code in the 'Referral Number (Optional)' field during registration, because you cannot be credited after they have joined.
So, be sure to tell everyone to use your Referral ID# when they join.
Yes. Just use the same unique linking material (banners, text links, etc) for all of your sites when linking to PokerSchool Online. All tracking will be done as if they came from one site.
*We do ask that you record the URLs (on which you intend to display our links) on your Agreement. If later you link to more URLs, please add these URLs to the URL box within the Tracking System.

It's almost no work at all. All you need to do is insert the unique HTML code where you want it on your web pages. In just a few minutes your link to PokerSchool Online is ready to go to work for you.

You bet! You can select from a number of different marketing materials available to use to promote PokerSchool Online, to best suit your needs.
For example, there are reviews, testimonials and short articles on PokerSchool Online that you can use in emails or on web sites (besides the typical banners and text links that you place on web sites).
The more you promote, the more you can earn.
Just log into your account on the Tracking and Reporting System, and go to the section called 'Other Links', where you can select any marketing materials and retrieve the corresponding unique code which contains your unique Referral ID#.

On web sites, the banner and/or buttons should be placed in high traffic pages. Some areas you may want to place your links include your home page, your navigation bar, and any other traffic areas. The more visitors to your web site that view the banners, the greater your potential profitability.
TRACKING, PAYMENT & REPORTING
How often can I expect payments?
PokerSchool Online tallies referrals during the last month of each quarter. It pays you on the last day of the month following the close of each quarter anytime a threshold of US$30 is exceeded, which happens when you have referred 3 or more qualifying members.
Your referral award only shows US$, not virtual dollars. So if you selected to be paid with additional bankroll, just multiply the award shown by 10. Example- $30 in the award account is the same as $300 virtual dollars in the bankroll.
Log into the Tracking and Reporting System to view reports on your activity on-line, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You are logging into a well-established third party tracking system, called MyAffiliate Program.
Yes, very easily. The key is to have the info the way you want it at the end of the quarter when your payment gets calculated and processed.
Just go to the Tracking & Reporting System to make any of these changes, and enter the new info in the corresponding field. Be sure to click the 'Update' button after you've made changes to retain them.

How do I cancel being in the Refer-a-Friend Program?
If you choose to no longer participate in the PokerSchool Online Refer-a-Friend Program, please include your unique Referral ID number as well as your PokerSchool Online Username when you notify us:

We'd appreciate learning why you wish to terminate so we can improve our program (of course we welcome hearing how we can improve the program anytime!).
An email will be sent to you confirming that you are no longer a program participant, effective the date of your notification. Any eligible awards yet unpaid will be sent to you by check within 30 days, even if they are less than the threshold.
