Courchevel Poker is Five Card Omaha with a unique twist.
You're dealt five hole cards face-down, but before the first round of betting, one Community card is dealt face up. This is known as the "spit" card.
So the first betting round happens after players have seen their five hole cards, plus one community card. Then two more cards are dealt, followed by a second round of betting. At that point the action proceeds like a normal Omaha hand. The turn card is dealt and there's a third round of betting. Finally the River card is dealt and there's one more round of betting.
For introductory players, we have an Omaha section on our forum if you would like to discuss Courchevel Strategy with new players and experts of the game.
