In this article we will take a look at some poker strategy with a specific emphasis on Multi-table Tournaments. Breaking it up into two sections we'll first look at the early stages and then we'll concentrate on the middle to lates stages.
The Early Stages
You should be extremely selective about the hands you play from early position - from the blinds and under the gun. You will be forced to play with a significant positional disadvantage, so only the best possible starting hands can compensate. Of course, if you think the player on the button is only trying to steal your blinds, you may need to defend occasionally with weaker holdings.

The Middle and Late Stages
You can open your starting hand range considerably when you are sitting in middle or late position, and the later your position the wider your range can be. One of the biggest mistakes losing players make is playing good-looking hands out of position. But just as importantly, winning players know how to play weak hands from strong positions.
