The PokerSchoolOnline league leader board ranks all the registered participants based on their performances in our regular freeroll tournaments.
The tournaments are open to everyone and provide real cash prizes as well as community bragging rights. But they also offer points, which translate into a league position. You can gain additional prizes by securing a high finish on the leader board.
Here is how to understand the leader board.Rank
The left-most column, headed "Rank", is your current position in the league. The next column will show your movement in the league since the last update to the leader board. A red triangle pointing down will indicate a downward movement and a green triangle pointing up will indicate an upward movement, along with how many places you have moved up or down.
This is your PokerStars User ID, alongside the flag of your country of origin.
"Level" is based on the number of VPPs you earned in the previous calendar month and is used to determine which payout tier you are eligible for. (Click through for an explanation of VPPs.)
There are three levels you can attain:
Each of the top positions on the leader board offers players a cash prize, but the size of that prize depends on the "Level" they have attained. The column headed "Prize" indicates the prize for which you are currently eligible (highlighted in either red or green), alongside the prize that would be available if your "Level" changed (in black).
In order to be eligible for any prize you must play at least five league events during the month. (Check out the schedule. You will only be paid a prize when there is a check mark in the "Eligible" column. Prior to the check mark appearing, your league position and score will be shown in the leader board but you will NOT be eligible for the prize shown.
This is your current score in the league. The league is updated after every tournament. For a detailed description of how points are awarded or deducted you can read the Skill League Scoring page. Clicking on your points score will show a breakdown of all events played in the current month and how many points were awarded or deducted for each finish.
