Bankroll mismanagement - depositing $35 again :-(

By: $irUlrich @ 02:45 (EST) / 311 / Comment ( 3 )

Every time I think I'm on a roll? I'm not! LOL I mismanaged my bankroll playing $7 SNGs. I just sold $28 to a friend which I plan to use for cash game live but apparently, I got cleaned out ( remembering Mike McD saying this in "Rounders") . Well, anyway... What happened was a bit of ego and let's just say......... stupidity! hahahaha. I was crushing the 6 max SNG but when I transferred back to $7 ( I played this game for like 2 months and I was just cruising aroung $180 - $230+ and couldn't build it up) the game was so new to me yet so familiar. A much more cunning and tighter game, I MISSED IT. that's where the problem started.

I played $7 SNG and I was just earning slow since workload in my legit job was really a pain in the a**. To summarize what happened, I had aroung $16.50 left which would have me play at least 4 3.50 SNGs, but what did I do? I still played the $7 SNG because I can't ac cept the fact that I can't b eat the game that I used to play (ego). Second, leaving me almost 2:1 disadvantage- 2 $7 SNG vs 4 3.50. So you see my point? there's a chance that I can catch up leaving me even to $35. That's where stupidity came like Yolanda in my bankroll.

So now what?!?!!? I broke even with my last deposit leaving me $25 up behind ($3 was a bonus requested by my good friend). I deposited $35 again and needs to seriously play more wisely. I'll update if I can.
