Not going too badly at all..

By: 2KF1 Peanut @ 21:43 (EDT) / 99 / Comment ( 1 )

I only made the first blog post yesterday, and I'm already featured? Guys, I'm flattered! Thankyou!

Moving on, I'll have a quick talk about what this blog is going to be about.

I'm hoping (key word there, hoping) to get good enough in poker to be able to make a living from it. There's no need for me to say that Poker is a very enjoyable game to play, I think it would be amazing to be able to play for a living.

I want this blog to be about my journey as a rookie player. I understand every basic aspect of the game, more so than anyone in my small town. I was actually placed in charge of running the weekly tournaments here (Yes, I said in my last post I won. I did actually earn it, no cheating! ).

However, I'm still struggling to understand concepts that are probably basics to the pros, yet unknown by new players like myself. I see people talking about different strategies for different stages of MTT play - such as the bubble. I'm not 100% sure on what exactly that is.. Is it the time when (say there were 1000 places paid) there are maybe, 1000-1500 players remaining? Where nobody wants to get knocked out?

I haven't gone through all of the tutorials and courses on the site yet, so I'll get onto those when I can't find a tournament I like.

Cheers for reading my second post, and another huge thanks to PokerStars and/or PSO for featuring my blog. Wish me luck guys!

See you on the table.
