poker experiences

Thinking I have 4 Aces: priceless =)

I did not take playing poker seriously until I stumbled into this website ( I was quite impressed with the way people actually "played" poker, I knew there was an element of "skill" in it, but now I know. (concious competetence.)

A week or so ago, upon reading the Basic/Core courses, In a MTT qualifier tournament, I found myself hovering as THE number 1 (chip leader until I got complacent and blew my strategy away), I still placed in the top 20 and  won a ticket for the second phase, which I failed miserably, on the first table I might add. I have never placed as the top ranking chip holder in a tournament before, let alone pass the bubble. To whom it may concern: Thank you very much for all the helpfull articles and videos.

Here is one of my amazing plays lately, I really need to work on pacifying my trigger happy all in button.

PokerStars Game #64247168528: Tournament #411910877, $3.11+$0.39 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level IV (50/100) - 2011/07/07 20:45:59 NZT [2011/07/07 4:45:59 ET]

Sorry, this hand was deleted by its owner

The lesson here is, dont be to quick on the draw, you risked everything on one pot, if you waited, I could have been in the money *sigh*
