$150 Challenge Day 3

By: 7deAizes @ 23:50 (EDT) / 1 / Comment ( 0 )

Hey guys =]

So today I was able to play 2 sessions again, but I think that the first session that I'm playing is not very profitable, and I'm probably stopping with it, or at least playing less tables. The reason is because I play on my lunch time, and I have just 2 hours, so at the point where I reach final tables, I don't have more time to play, and then I have to finish quickly. Other reason is that I have a lot of distractions, like a live cash game that I can't say no...

So I think it's better to use this time to study a little...

Let's go to the sessions...

Session 1

So, I don't really remember the results, but I could reach the money in 2 or 3 tables:

but I ended losing on this session. not too much, but I can't really keep losing this everyday... so I think I need to fix this asap... My bankroll after the session:

Like I said, the session 1, I don't really get focused, so I don't even save hands to review... I really need to do something about this session....

Session 2

In this session I usually play at night, so I can get more focused and play a little bit better, and much more.

Some good results:

- 3 90p tournaments in the money

- 1 2nd place on 90p tournament

I didn't play very well the 45p $0.5 today, and I can say the same to the freeroll and PSO OpenSkillLeague... I think I need some adjustments on those kind of tournaments...

One hand that I have for today, not to analyze my play, because it was a tilt caused by a previous bad beat to the same lucky guy, but I would like to share and take some opinions about the winner of this hand.... IMO it's just luck... but I see this a lot, and I'm not even play too much....

AT vs KK vs 24

The other hand, I think it's a leak on my game, and that's I hand that I have played veeery very poor....

QQ vs 98

In this particular hand, I think my first mistake was to bet too small... I should really bet bigger here, and I won't make this mistake again...

In the flop, I played to punish the way I play to punish players that overvalue top pair, or even draws... So in that case, I think that this was not a complete mistake, because I see very often in micro stakes players getting broke with medium, or even bottom pairs... so if they have top pair, they are going to the showdown, and they don't even need a good kicker... So, I'm not sure about the best play here after the flop...

At the end, the second place gave me a good result for today...

That's it...

I'm very happy and I think I'm improving my game, and I think I will be able to reach my goals...
