$150 Challenge (The Big Bang and day 7)

By: 7deAizes @ 11:59 (EDT) / 171 / Comment ( 0 )

So... I now it's a little too late to talk about the big bang...

But, I want to let it posted.. because it was a very pleasant experience... Even if I couldn't have finished... I had to let it in the middle... I was doing very well, with 3h of tournament I was in 5th with more than 20k chips, but I had to stop because of my trip to Chile, and with that I have ended in 25th... I think I could do a little better if I had continued playing, buut.... that's ok, I received a nice prize =]

Back from Chile

So In my trip I could read the excellent book Harrington on Holdem Vol. 1, and I have found a nice reading, even if I already knew about a lot of things, some of them became much more clear now.

But as an aside (and I think it's much more because I was tired and not because of the reading), I have found myself playing much more looser yesterday, and losing big pots playing with marginal hands, so I'll fix it, because yesterday was a very expensive session... If I don't fix it, I won't be able to play on $1 tournaments for a while....

So, some hands:

AA vs J9 vs A10

This was an interesting hand, when player 5 raised, I could reraise right now, but then I thought that the small stack of player 4 would do this for me.. and how player 4 was a little desperate, I was not really worried about his hand (even if AA does worse against 2 players), and for my surprise player 5 called an all in with J9o...

Bad beats...

I won't post more too many bad beats, but this one...

KK vs AK vs KT

That's it for now...
