After a very rough start in my first month in the Premier League and the frustration that came with it I managed to get two very good results with some suffering (a 3rd and a 9th). After I got ITM in my second good finish I decided that if I didn’t get third place or better I was stalling if I could be certain if my points could held up to be in the top 500. I was about 300th place and it was October 21st.

So I checked last month history and after tracking three days of results I decided that my point would almost probably do it.

I estimated that October’s ITM finish will be around 1592.50 points and I was some points ahead of that.

Now next month I play the league it will be very important if I get a good start and if I get over 1600 too soon I will still try to get a better position, but as in this month if I come from behind and get the points 10 days before the month ends I will stall again, it’s not worth the risk if the next pay jump is way too far. As an example, if I have 1632 points and is the 22th of the month I know I have at least 2 shots to improve (every time you play you can’t lose more than 16 points on average) if nothing comes I would stop, it will be one less worry for the rest of the month and that’s enough for me to think I’m playing it in a smart/safe way.
