Diary of Frustration

In all my years

I am 45 years old and have played poker since i was 8 years of age. In all my years I have personally NEVER seen such blatant one-sidedness in cards dealt. Game after game I sit there wondering if my seat has a " Dump all crap and second-best hands here" sign over it. Now I've had slumps, downswings, and bad nights aplenty. You just refocus, move to another table, or ride it out for a few days and that which came around leaves. It's now week 6 and still going strong. Now don't get me wrong, I have had pockets of luck where I'd make a few hands, but overall it's been bad like today. I played several tournaments. In each tourney I was consistantly folding until I came across hands like K Q...A K...or even A T, but even those hands had nothing to back em up. Best hand I had was the A K...paired the ace and king...opponent flipped trip 8. I am now contemplating taking a sevaticle from pokerstars...maybe a few days...maybe a week....maybe for good Maybe I'll continue to try to ride it out....
