Hey Guys,

Besides being an avid Poker enthusiast, I am trained in behavioral psychology and have worked as a mental coach for both athletes and executives in business. I have found, that the principles for success in sports or in your worklife, applies perfectly to the mindset you need, when you wish to improve your overall poker skills.

Therefore, I wish to give you a gift of knowledge, that you may enjoy or disregard, and which may be the first building block in achieving your goals in life.

The term "Positive Psychology" has been hyped up for the past 2-3 years and has swept across the globe as a virus, just think of the movie "The Secret" and likewise. Personal coaches are popping up everywhere and everyone has a personal motivator of some type, to help them perform.

But I have discovered, that the best and only mental coach you need, is YOU!

Since mid 1920's, it has been known that:

"Whatever the Mind can Conceive and Believe, the Mind can Achieve ..."

This is the very foundation of what we know as Positive Psychology today. Not many people realize, that this concept is nearly 100 years old, and is regarded as something brand new and exciting. It is not. It is however a well-tried and proven method of developing your maximal potential mental skills and assist you in realizing your goals in life.

So let's get to it:

1. Positive Mental Attitude -- Believe in your instincts and intuition

2. Dream big - and learn from those who have gone before you

3. Share your knowledge - help others achieve their goals

4. Don't ask for more money - ask for more wisdom

5. Momentum - Build a daily schedule/routine that enables you to get in the "zone" quickly

6. Educate you everyday - keep an open mind and listen (God gave you 2 ears, but only one mouth - wonder why?)

7. Trust the Math - Don't trust luck - it is a tricky mistress

8. Smile when you lose - you know you did the right thing preflop

9. Don't gloat when you win - be grateful and sympathetic instead

10. Love the game - enjoy he money

If you follow these 10 basic mental principles, you will not only improve your poker skills, but also more importantly, live a more happy life in general.

I hope and trust, that this will be of benefit to those of you, who are ready to receive and I gladly accept comments and/or challenges to my beliefs ...

If you wish to learn more about this subject, I suggest you srach GOOGLE for:
