In the beginning

I have been playing home games for about a year and online for about 6 monhs. I'm obviously new to this game but cards are in my blood. My grandmother taught me how to play cards when I was little and every night we would play cards after dinner. My relatives still have a love of cards and when I last visted they were working on learning a new card game they had discovered while visiting Canada.
Well, now for the reason for thsi blog. I was just downsized. Once the shock lifted I relaized that this would give me a great opportunity to learn more and improve my game. I am hoping with continued learning and practice each day of entering a live tournament this year and getting in the money. I hope this blog will give me an outlet to document this journey.
The only thing let to say today is...Let's Shuffle Up and Deal! See you on the leaderboard.
