Getting Serious about the League

Aces- Love em and Hate em

By: Chance Stone @ 18:28 (EST) / 403 / Comment ( 4 )

I can't believe I'm saying this but Aces have been my worst enemy for the past couple days. I've been eliminated fairly early from 3 tournaments recently holding pocket rockets.

I now know that if I ever want to be truly good at Poker I'm going to have to learn to lay down Aces. I'm wondering, have any of you experienced a bad streak with Aces. If so, any advice? Or any advice in general on when to be more cautious with Aces? Scenarios in which you would lay them down.

The losing flops btw

J 3 J (the other player had a Jack)

J 7 Q (the player had a J10 and another J came out on the turn)

J 9 3 (the other player was holding a J 9)

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
