Turning $30 into $3000 in July - Day 12

The journey continues and am exhausted. Been playing probably 12+ hours a day trying to build the bankroll. I wonder though if there comes a point where playing to much can kill your game. I have found myself over the last few days doing well in several tournaments and making mistakes at the wrong time. It has been amazing to me how many times I have "almost" made it to the money but fell just a couple people short. I guess though, if I'm playing for first and not just playing to cash, runs like that will happen. In over 120 tournaments this month I have cashed in 22% so maybe I shouldn't beat myself up to bad.Today I got crushed in MTT's but recouped my losses with a great round of single table tournaments at the end of the night. When I started on this journey my plan was to play mainly single table tournaments but have been playing a lot of MTT"s. I will probably mix in more STT's over the next week depending on where the bankroll is. I think on Saturday I'm gonna take a break, do the family reunion, catch a baseball game and be refreshed for the Sunday tourney's. Bankroll is at $576 which is $100 behind what I was projecting at this point. One good tournament will fix that. Go forth and prosper!
