Hi PSO'er's

Its closing in on my first full year playing on pokerstars and i think  my blog should reflect back over my first year here and what my future goals will be.

I'v had up's and down's I'v had good times and I'v had bad times and even over the space of 11 months I'v not really got anywhere. BUT i'm still here playing and iv not made a deposit since the end of november last year which i think is a great achievement.

In my time playing here on stars and since i signed up for PSO i'v got involved (maybe not as much as i could )and I joined a group called the bankroll co-op shortly after joining PSO, because i really liked the idea of playing as a team and investing small amounts to play bigger buy ins and eventualy build a team bankroll to play games and help build the group as unit. The group has recently celebrated its 1st full year also and is going from strength to strength as we all improve and think of new ideas for us all to try and it wont be long before we get our first real success.

And with being in a group you make friends get talking build bonds and get invited to join other groups like the FT Hunter$ a group of mailnly MTT players of  different levels and styles. Also like the co-op in the hunter$ we chip in and aim for bigger tournaments and we do profit sharing in MTT's where we enter the same tournament and when we cash we create a team pot which is worked out by a formula which is great for  guys on lower bankrolls because even if you dont cash you can still get a return. Iv also taken part in some sit and go challenges where 2 or 3 of us put in an equal amount and try build a bankroll to share by taking turns to play mtt sit n go's like the 90 mans.

Recently I have been asked to be a moderator on a new staking site/forum that is being launched soon which I am thrilled about and I hope that I will be up to the job. I wont mention what the site is called because it wont be allowed i dont think.

Since my last update blog I have made 2 final tables in MTT's in august i got 8th in $1.10 2.5k gtd and i got 6th in $2.20 5k gtd which im delighted about after coming close to getting to the final table in fare few MTT's and i feel like the next one i will win and get my first real breakthrough.

I'v made silver status for the last 3 months by playing MTT's and zoom cash tables to build points and have taken a liking to it, as before when I played zoom it was only for fun and out of boredom which resulted in me losing my buy ins and it shows in my graph but now i want to take it serious and prove to myself I can beat the 2nl level and step up to 5nl.

And since I have taken a new approach to zoom by putting good numbers in I have recovered to almost breakeven but I think I can do better. And as cash games have never really been my thing i will be studying more and posting hands for evaluation so i can work on beating the level and moving up.

Last week I again stepped out of my comfort zone and had an attempt for battle of the plannets, I played just over 80 single table sit and go's and decided not complete the 100 block as my points were nowhere near good enough to make the top 10 which is hardly suprising on my first attempt but again lol I was breakeven over the games maybe a buy in down. So again I have some study to do and practice to put in so i can try and contend for a seat in the battle of planets freeroll.

My satellites have been going well and I have been winning seats on a regular basis ( just not getting the results in the tourney) with my best results coming in the 66c rebuy satty to the big 22 with an roi of 260% but i usualy take the tourney$ as cant justify playing that high on my bankroll,  I use a simple strategy of auto rebuy at start of the game and do the add on if i make it that far and after the rebuy period its pretty much a game of push fold and if you get to 100k+ in chips your pretty much guaranteed the ticket.

Well i think that is it for now I will keep plugging away and keep searching for that big MTT win I'v got plenty to be working on and i will report my progress in my next blog and i might also make a DD's guide to satellites.
