Dr Evil's Learning Curve "A Few Months On"

By: DrEvil1412 @ 13:18 (EDT) / 155 / Comment ( 0 )
Over the last few months I have tried the many variants of Hold'em Poker (cash games, one table sng's, Mt Sng's and Mtt's) and have come to the conclusion that my game is best suited to microstakes Mt SnG's and MTT's. So much so that these are all I played and with the help of a HuD ( I am currently on the Poker Tracker 3, 60 day Trial and loving it, and would recommend everyone should at least try a Hud) have proved pretty successfull with April giving me a Return on Investment of 60% with an In the Money figure of 35% over 20 tournaments, while I realise that this is still a small sample I am hopeful that this can continue! I owe a good chunk of this to the superb Live Training archives and blogs from Ahar010 especially his bankroll building suggestions using microstakes mt sng's. Keep up the good work man.

In my quest for the promised land of the Premier League I've decided that the Open Skill League is not for me, though the experience did teach me many things, especially patience! I am now trying my hand at the Premier Skill League Qualifiers and am having so much more fun, which along with being profitable is the most important thing to me.

Next target- To break through the $100 bankroll barrier and continue to progress through the levels profitably, and to learn how to convert final table finishes to top 3's! Also to get into the 150VPP level to access further learning content.
