Dan Dugger's Table Play

Basic Course Ticket Tourny

Hello All, I just was beaten in the Basic Course Tourny where it felt like playing in a 1.10$ tourny that adds $1000.00 to the pool. Players where going all in with 1500 in chips and much, much more. I started reading on the core course and as I was reading, "hold back early game because...," I hear the sound when chips are put up on the tables and poped over to see what the size was. All in, the pot was big with 1500.00 and I'm holding A 9, thanks to the new information I was able to cut my loses and fold and wait for a better opportunity later on. Although, I still went out 400 and something out of 900 plus players, it was great to start to realize the good plays from the bad ones.
