Let's Get Started!

First blog post here.  I'll be blogging my journey of playing poker, with the hopes of one day being able to make this my full time job.

A little about me, I'm a senior in college right now, commissioning into the Army upon graduation.  So, playing will certainly be part time for at least the next 4 years.  My goal is to build a solid bankroll over that time in order to be able to play full time by 2014.

I initially deposited $600 into Pokerstars, and I have since doubled that.  I took out my original $600, so that is also what my bankroll is at the moment.

I play a variety of cash games and sit and go's.  I tend to do poorly in big tournaments, so I'm hoping the PSO freerolls can really help me improve that aspect of my game.  Who knows, maybe I can even give my bankroll a big boost with a huge month in these!

Stay tuned for more.
