Hot and Cold

So it's been a pretty mixed bag the last few days as far as tournaments go....

I have only finished in the points in the PokerSchoolOpenLeague 3 times out of the last 9 tournaments even though I was getting my money in good. I have dropped down the leaderboard abit and am now placed 159th but am pretty frustrated with this tournament....

So after this latest run of form I decided to play some cash tournaments/SnGs and play against a better quality of opponent and see exactly how I stack up and gauge my progress to see how much I have improved. So far this has paid off and have been running pretty good. Have cashed 4/5 MTTs including 3 final tables and my first ever 1st place (yeeeeeeaahhhhh!!!!).

While i'm tempted to never play the PokerSchoolOpenLeague ever again I think I will probably continue with it in an effort to make the PremierSkillLeague. If I don't make it then I will not attempt it again and continue to play cash NLHE ring games and buy in MTT/SnGs in order to increase my bankroll.

I have to say that these cash MTTs have reinvigorated my love for poker... shout out must go to AHAR010  (another fellow Kiwi) for making his SnG sessions and inspiring me to try these out.

Cheers.
