Paying it forward:

I am not claiming to be an over-the-top NLHE player. I really don't want to put the effort in doing so. However, I do enjoy the good card game. I enjoy any card game in fact, from Euchre, 7's, and so forth. However, with the promotion of the poker school website, and feeling the need to participate, I too, will challenge myself into building a bankroll. These are my goals. Goal 1: Test my skills to see if I am actually able to win in the money. -- I know that the money is not a worthy enough to win. If I am able to make the money what-so-ever, then I may consider in moving to Goal 2. However, to move to Goal 2, I predict that I will need to place in several free-rolls. Goal 2: Minimum bankroll: $2.40. -- Why such a specific amount? The minimum buy in on a $0.01 / $0.02 cash table is 40x the BB. I want to have 120x the BB before I enter the cash table. I know this violates rule #2 on the bankroll management that PSO has stated, however, if I was to bring less than 10% of my bankroll to the table, I'd need a minimum of $24 in my bankroll. ($2.40 is 10% of $24) To build my bankroll up to $24 off of the free rolls that PSO offers would take more time than I am ready to indulge in. Goal 2.5 : Increase bankroll: $10.75 -- I predict my biggest challenge to overcome is playing the same type of game over and over. To break the constant ring game, I will reward myself with just one game of a $1.75 entry to an 18 man sit and go. Goal 3: Minimum bankroll: $24.00 -- This is the cause for celebration. If I can turn a $0 bankroll into $24.00, then I have something to say for myself. Also, knowing that I'll bring only $2.40 into a ring game, then I would have finally met the PSO bankroll management rule #2. A minimum of 10% in a table. Depending on how I traverse through these goals, I'll set up other goals later on. I am still new to this site and not fully familiar with all the bells and whistles. So if by chance that you are reading this and wish to comment on the blog, feel free to find me in the tables on PS, or e-mail me at psendlessmyk@gmail.com
