League Play

Well, I had to say it in my last blog, so , of course it happened, lol! Had a bad day and didn't get my points, but made a good run at it the next day. Have moved up to 151st now and waiting for the updates today. Grabbed 33rd and 44th, I think, in the last days to keep me moving up the leaderboard. Gotta hit the money and I will be o.k. Don't have to win one, but it would be nice. Looking at the other players, I realize some people are just better than me, but I'm still learning. I'm also very interested in the live training coming soon. I think this will be a big boost to my play/strategy when it starts as I have never had any training or read any books on poker strategy. Have also found that first impressions of online players are often wrong, and most of the league players are pretty good guys/girls ! The idiots go out early most of the time and you are left playing against a lot of the same people later in the tournaments. This is good and bad because you learn their style of play, but they know yours too. I am hoping that my reputation of not being a bluffer will help me at later stages of tournaments when I have to try bluffing a hand. I am very quick to point out to opponents that I don't bluff, and will show my cards to prove it, hence, increasing my chances of winning pots on my reputation. I think this will make it much harder for people to call me. We will see how it goes today.......
