Introduction - How I became a poker player!

"Much before we humans get to understand the advanced concept of a subject or object, we take the first insight into it i.e. Introduction."

Well, I am a software developer at Google India & recently passed out from college & regrets past 4 years of his life closed in a  room doing nothing with anything but Books & computers. You can say the grass often seems greener on other side but as an introvert, I have always been inspired by the other diciplined guys at my college(MIT, Manipal, India) who were die hard extrovert and love the adventure of life.

Well, Time went on and finally I got a job and planned to spend my last 6 month of college like an extrovert. I partied, I had fun but somewhere inside me, I didn't loved being so adventurous. Well, Its not that I am allergic to human besides being human myself, its just that I loved everything where the work is to deal with mental complications.

Then one day, college was over and I was left with nothing to do when I come back from Office. I played sudoku. Got into Rank #1 on all facebook's sudoku' apps.

Started an MMORPG on Android/iOS  called Haypi Kingdom and made #1 alliance over there.

Then moved back to A3 where I had been the administrator and developer of the game since past 6 years & ultimately - Got bored of the all the same strategy.

And then 1 month back, one of my friend at Haypi Kingdom told me about this magical game where strategy keeps changing and a great mental stregth is required to play it anyway. That was Poker

Searched some website & their ranking and finally started learning from Poker School Online.

Keeping my bankroll management in view i.e. 50$, I played about two hundread tournaments of 0.02$ buy-in Sit & Gos. Finishes rank #1 twice, Rank 3rd 7 times and rank under 100 several times and recovered my total buyins and made good profit.

But what did I learn? Patience, Perseverance & a sheer will to survive.

And thats what, I think, Poker tournaments are all about & thats all I have to say on my first blog on PokerSchool

Thanks For Reading!

Regards, GJ
