short post about this month

A very short post to account for the short time.

Feeling good about my ABC basic game, which is serving me well in both my cash game and my 360 man 50cent challange.  I have managed to eliminate most of my FPS (slowplaying, bluffing against oppenents who couldn't care less what I hold as they have the almightly  Top Pair / top air / a draw.

One of teh major ays of doing this was to cut down the number of tables and stop with the auto playing (which would be ok if my B game was good) instead I focus on 1 or 2 tables and bring my A game as I would to a PSO home game (actually it was in one of the PSO home games I relised I was playing better, I have notes on most of the regs and caUght my self running ranges and tendancies through my head, then later I'm thinking well why dont you do that on other tables?

This is one of the reasons I don't do well at zoom becuse i am not yet compidant in my unthinking auto pilot game i need that time to think , ie remind my self of what is the right play , rather than do it automatically (hope that made some sceience even if it is jumbled)

The only thing i'm doing which is not strictly an ABC syle is looking for steal spots against overly tight villians.

Moved to 5nl but had too much on the go.  sit and go's and 2 5nl tables so went back to 1 table of 5nl and one of 2nl and that worked much better.

This week I plan on reviewing Daves hand ranging videos and seeing if i can find good videos for small tourniment play.  Will for sure be looking at the mid to small stack one as my pushing range is a bit of a weakness (combined with tilt and concentration issues.)

Talking of tilt its something that if you asked me 2 months ago i'd have said i don't have big tilt issues. Well of course i do, I had my AA cracked in a 360 man by 53o. so when i was in a hand with that player and he checked to me on flop I had top pair weak kicker no draw on a 7 high flop I shoved. A horrendus move (although against this villian a thin value shove, what made it poor was the ignoing the oher player in the pot in order to get in with the villian i knew missed the flop...

Not sure if i will buy Jarads book as an audio book or a paperback but for sure will be my next purchase.

Gook decisions everyone
