Do Donks equal contributors?

Salutations boyz and grrlz!

So the question that I'm posing is do Donks equal contributors, meaning, are they just accidents waiting to benefit your own stack or are they just pains in the butts?

I believe that for cash games that yes, donks are wonderful ways of adding more money to your pocket, however, for those people trying to improve their own game and understand the mechanics of it they can be a bit of a distraction and issue.

Take the p.s.o. tourney for instance... It's very difficult for even a good player to get past all the donks on his way to a decent 100th place ranking. Yet I see them everywhere.. At one table I witnessed four going back and forth all in with crap cards over eight times. Three of those hands I could have won.

Do you think there is anything we can do to maybe make it more difficult for them to gain entry into the p.s.o. games? (Maybe require a passing grade for the sit n go quiz) Or should we be able to report them to admin when it just gets out of hand? Is there anything that can be done?

Discuss and get back with me.
