High Suits 10K Challenge

Trying to turn a £100 deposit into £10K.
Send PM

Today has been the most bitter-sweet session of poker I have played. I finally managed to dig myself out of the $100 downswing I have been having the last week. Today I have estimated to have taken about $1.4-1.6k worth in equity suckouts. My bankroll is sitting at $482 but really (even though poker owes me nothing) it should be around atleast $1.4k.

The first one came in when I made a deep run in The Big Bang Main Event. I managed to get down to the last 15 players where I was sitting around top of the pack around 4/15. Stacks were shallow and the average stack was around 12bb. A very loose aggressive player opens LP and I find a great spot to reshove with my AK. He snaps me off with A2s and I am sent packing. That was to head into the final table with the chip lead. That was worth at least $450-$650 worth in equity. I thought I BOOMED the hand but apparently not. I must have been too quick to close the table tab.

The next spot is when I manage to make the final table of the $2.201r1a. Probably my favourite MTT at the minute because the field is so soft and you end up playing over 100bb after the 6k add-on. I am sitting pretty with 30bb and at least $118 locked up but I am shooting for first prize. I believe I am the best player at the table because the plays people where making were catastrophic. Just look at some of their HUD states in the image. Anyway I find a great spot to get KK in against the table donkey and he hits runner runner for a 60bb pot and probably around $500-$600 worth of equity.

He was running like god. A few hands before he overplayed KJo on 42J rainbow by 6x raising a c-bet 3way and got all in for around 100bb against AA and hit runner 2 turn and J river to take out one of the better players that was there.

Anyway just wanted to let you all know I am finally in the green. I am pure busted haven’t been to bed yet that $2.201r1a does not start till 2am I stayed up all night for it. I am also busted from my first weight training session of the year. Feel like someone has kicked the crap out of my.

Going to get some kip and get back up for another nightly grind session. Lets hope my next blog is talking about something different than my bad luck.
