My First 1000 Razz Hands

By: HittinBricks @ 20:49 (EST) / 348 / Comment ( 2 )

Here are the statistics from my first 1000 razz hands:

Razz (Real Money):

1000 hands played:
- saw fourth street 188 times      (19%)
- saw fifth street 113 times      (11%)
- saw sixth street 77 times      (8%)
- reached showdown 40 times      (4%)

Pots won at showdown - 20 out of 40      (50%)
Pots won without showdown - 91

I play at the 0.25/0.50 level and will be for some time. I'm determined to become a profitable player, but I've lost $20.54 from my first 1000 hands although I was getting hammered in show downs during the first bit. The 50% showdown percentage is actually significantly improved from what it was during the first 500 hands or so.

If you notice any shortfalls in my stats please let me know! I feel like I'm a very efficient ante stealer judging from my stats, but that alone won't put me in the green. Am I just getting unlucky and should keep playing until my luck evens out more?

If a couple more showdowns went my way I would definitely be making money so I feel as though I'm not far off.
