Hogan37's Quest For a Million

/Nov/2010

The Start

I have never considered myself an exceptional poker player.  I first started playing poker like many recent players, after Chris Moneymaker came out of no where to win the WSOP Main Event.  But recently I have started to imporve my game by any means necessary, and I am hoping PSO will be the key to improvement.

I had taken a break from poker for a few months due to time constraints with work and university, and when I came back to the site a few weeks ago, I came to the realization that I still had one cent left in my account.  So here is my goal:  Turning that one cent into one million.

Currently I am up to $1.77.  I was able to cash in a couple of the 20 FPP and 10 FPP tourneys that had $1000 and $500 prize pools.  Which got me up to 58 cents, and I was able to triple that by playing $0.02/$0.04 limit hold'em which has gotten me to where I stand now.

Over the next weeks, months, and likely years, I will keep you posted through this blog on how my progress is going.  I am keeping track of my bankroll and will ocasionally add charts to give you a visual of how I am doing.

Wish me luck!!
