Fifty50 Sit n Go's

By: Humey93 @ 08:12 (EDT) / 698 / Comment ( 0 )
This is my first little run on pokerstars, gambling with real money for the first time. I wouldn't describe myself as a complete fish when it comes to poker, but neither an up and coming grand master.

Even so, I find myself doing very averagely well in the fifty50 micro sit n go's, all because you can exploit that scary bubble posistion.

Down to 6 players, you'll be lucky to see a flop every 10 hands, short stracks decide to close shop and hope that someone busts, medium stacks simply sit out, and big stacks bully the rest of the table.

However within this problem, lies a solution. With a medium stack, sticking your chips all in, i have found to be very profitable, and im not talking just sticking your premium hands in. You can shove any ace, along with k-Q with medium kicker and J-8,9,T. 85% of the time i won the pot with no showdown, meaning that I do not blind out, or that I am surviving for dear life.

Ofcourse there are risks that come with this, running into monsters is the biggest worry, but if you time your all in shoves right, and try not to tustle with the big stack then, you will find that you gain more sucess with this tactic, than failure
