The Love for The Game of Poker

By: JBCD71 @ 14:46 (EST) / 166 / Comment ( 0 )

Hello friends & cummunity members,

Lately i have found myself reading articles in the News from the Poker World about certain players retiring from the game of poker. Some to be even at a very young age making statements they have retired from poker.

Is some players retiring to be taken seriously? I think not in most cases, or maybe they should and only time will tell. Some have a sick run and wanna leave on top or just to make a statement or even go on to other things like business etc etc.

When i read about news like this i have to question thier motives and love for the game of poker.

Certain questions come up , so i have come up with a Top Ten questions you ask yourself when a player retires at a young age or old age.

1. Were they only in it for the money?

2.Did they move into Business or Starting a business?

3.How much do they really love the game?

4.Did they fallout of Love for The Game?

5.Did they start a Family?

6.Do they just wanna go and enjoy Life without the stresses of Poker?

7. Wanna go out on Top of The Game and Poker World?

8.Is their Health taking a toll from playing, is it a Health issue?

9.Was it a death in the Family or Health issue?

10.Lost interest

Thou this dont cover all the reasons it is the ones i came up with. Some of these reasons may be very valid reasons to retire , but some are questionable for how much Love they have for The Game of Poker. For myself as a Poker player who has been playing for most of my life thus far but more seriously in my later years in life. I am 45 now and have learned alot in Poker and know there is always still alot more to learn. My Love for the Game of Poker will never come to an end or retire.I love this Game so much. That Love will never stray, i may slow down. In no way will i ever give up this game.No way!

See ya at the tables,
