I knocked out a PSO Team Member

By: Jcrondps @ 18:50 (EDT) / 293 / Comment ( 0 )

After missing the first 9 events of The PSO Derby, I knew I had some catching up to do if I wanted to place anywhere near the top of the leaderboard for the series. I registered Event 10, which was the Team PSO Bounty event. I found myself seated with "Fadyen" at the start of the tournament and had hopes of knocking him out. However, it was not meant to be, as an early table split saw me seated at another table.

I opened the lobby and started looking for other Team PSO members. I noticed that "ChewMe1" was sitting out and his stack was quickly blinding off. I was hoping a split would seat him at my table. I got my wish. He got moved to my table with 3050 chips left and would blind out on the small blind.

I had over twice as many chips as everyone else at my table and "ChewMe1" was coming off the big blind. His small blind would eat the rest of his chips and I had plans to shove any two. Luckily, I woke up with a hand and it went down as follows:

I would have been happy with a call but I won without contention and earned the bounty! I went on to win the tournament for another 100 leaderboard points.
