So I joined the site and the league on the last week of september. I was mainly a FTP player but made PS my main pokerroom now since I can't get rakeback on Tilt. I read the courses, passed the tests and joined the league. I did fairly well that last week considering I could only get in around 10 tourneys. I work nights so I can only play about 1 tourney a day. I got my feet wet in september and I was all geared up to do good in october. I started off pretty good I think. Two cashes and one with positive points. Had another where I finished in the 600's. So I jump in the 1 o'clock the other day ready to make a decent run. I come across AKs in middle postion early in the tournament. I raised around 3-4x bb and got one caller. Flop comes out A-T-rag. Checked to me, I bet around half pot. Dude pushes all in. Don't have any read on this guy since it was early. Putting him on A with a decent kicker, I called. He shows AT for two pair and it holds up. Busted out in 831 place. Was kinda bummed out cause I didn't want so many negative points. Tomorrow is another day. So the next day I jump in the 1 o'clock. Saying to myself, I'm gonna be patient and pick my spots to chip up. Again, early in the tournament I pick up AJs on the BB. One caller to me and I checked. I should have raised now that I think about it. Anywho, flop comes out AA3. No help to my flush but I hit my trips with a decent kicker. Checked to me I bet half pot and he calls. Turn comes out a Ten. Dude bets out 200 and I raised to 800. He shoves leaving me about 200 to call. I call and he shows AT for a full house. I couldn't believe it. AT killed me again. Another bad negative day in the league. Damn you AT. That's poker I guess. Still alot of days left. I was just hoping to get off to a better start. Until next time.....
