2 of 10 PSO Tournament Secrets to Success

By: Juan Tabone @ 20:16 (EDT) / 1088 / Comment ( 0 )
This the 2nd installment to what I believe are key PSO Tournament Secrets to Success:
2. STAY AWAY FROM THE LOOSE "ALL-IN" GOOSE
Every table starts with one or two of these players. Call them what you want (Donkey, idiot, slippy, etc.) but these players can kill you early and force you into an unfavourable position. They will eventually lose all of their chips within the first hour of the tournament (typically the first 15 mins) but beware if you do decide to take them on early in the tournament...try to see a flop for as cheap as possible and proceed with caution from there. Acumulating points in the PSO standings are essential and going backwards in the standings due to a quick call with AK against a whitestar player playing for fun holding Q2 pushing all in is pointless. Stay tuned for Secret 3 where i add a bit more depth to the previous Secrets 1 & 2.
