4. CHANGE GEARS...BE PATIENT!
So you've made it through the first 55 minutes, half the field should be gone and the chip average should be roughly 3000. If you've implimented secrets 1-3 your chip stack should be close to chip average (depending if you hit a monster or two). Now is the time to slow down and be a little more selective in your play. The blinds at this stage make it more difficult to see the flop for cheap especially as desparate players start to shove. All the "sitting out" players should have about half their starting stack left and the key is to make sure you don't bust before they do! Stay tuned for the next couple secrets that apply to play up until the second break.
