Free Ticket = Profit

By: KidCarterXDA @ 10:02 (EDT) / 1092 / Comment ( 18 )

After entering many of the Pokerstars ticket giveaways on Twitter, I finally managed to get my hands on an $11 ticket 5 days ago (29th September).

I ended up using that ticket to enter the $11 bounty builder. Even though I was going to enter that tourney anyway, FREEROLL! When the $11 bounty started I was asleep (so lazy) so didn't register until later than I usually would. Normally I'd reg about an hour late but didn't register this time until 2h5m into it - 5 mins before late reg closed.

On my 4th hand, I picked up AKc and got it in pre-flop against QQ and binked a K on the turn. The person had less chips than me and had a $10 bounty. Not a bad start. Already doubled up and already made $5 profit.

I ended up finishing in around 290th for about $20 + $15ish in bounties. Not the deepest of runs but can't moan at $35 profit on a freeroll.
