I have never had a blog before.  I'm going to use this to keep my notes on the Skill League.

I am an experienced tournamnet player & won the December NAPL Senior Division & it seems to me that I ought to be able to figure out how to beat the Skill League.

Maybe, maybe not.  It seems fairly random - the same people aren't the leaders each month, which I would expect if it were truly a "skill" league.  The blinds go up faster than in usual Poker Stars tournaments and there's a monster penalty for taking a bad beat before 40% of the field is eliminated.  Having said that, it's reasonably easy to consistently make the top 30%.

It's almost time for the 10:00 pm tournament.  Gotta go.
