LeoTheLiar's Lessons Learned

Throwing caution to the wind....

By: LeoTheLiar @ 13:55 (EST) / 292 / Comment ( 0 )

Man oh man, I have had the worst 8 game streak i've had since joining the PSO. Yesterday, the 27th I gave back around 60 pts from my leaderboard dropping from my start of 1801.xx to 1748.xx. Today I have done horribly as well in the first two coming in just over the 27% mark in the early one and going out in the 800's in the second. I'm using the same style and techniques i used to reach my highest point of 1808pts but it's not working out too well anymore....So after dropping from my 333rd position high I will most likely be back down in the 600's or 700's.

Ouch!

I tend to do much better in micro MTT's usually coming in the top 10 when i play them. I play a lot more hands in those and it works, so for the rest of the month, what little there is, I am going to start playing without regard for making the bubble and start playing like I do in those cash tourneys...

Mostly this post is just a bunch of complaining about a bad streak, but I was just curious if anyone else has a tough time here at the end of the month.

Thanks for the read,

Leo

Update: Well that didn't work either for the mid-day skill league...Can't figure out why i've come in 1st, 2nd, and 4th, in the 90 player 25 cent tourney, but can't seem to get anywhere here in the pso for the last 48 hrs...I am now praying to the poker gods...lol.
