The winds and grinds of it: A brief history of the long grind

Part 1: The start of something big

Hi all and welcome to the first part of my blog and hopefully the first step in a long grind to reach a goal of $1000 from $35.

As a NLH player specialising in heads up play I believe i can really build my bankroll from the origanal $35 I put in. I've started off playing $7 hu games. After recent sucess on other pokersites I felt that i could win enough heads up to sustain a bankroll of about $100 - $150. With this bankroll I can start to adapt in to a more relaxed multi table tournaments style of play.

After a few wins in the heads up my bankroll soon was soon raised to about £60 within a few hours. So with a few hours investment I had doubled my money.

For now,
