Something to think about!

So yesterday night did again confirm my ability of not beating the low stakes MTTs...

No just kidding. Sure sometimes I play to long session when I should sleep instead but hey I play for fun. I will continue trying to get better because I love this game.

As Ive said, since I play for fun I don't always play with full focus and that Is not good for my progress. But seriously, all people nagging about some mistake in a one dollar mtt when I vé played for many hours after a long day at work Is in my opinion like the typical society donk (cant use meaner words because of the rules). A very good rule imo, just to be clear

Also I now for a fact that very few people cash a lot over a decent sample size, so Im not nearly alone in the so called  “donk category”.

I cant really understand how one can value a sample size with data from less then 10k big fields tourneys if thats Is what you want to see stats on. Something fishy when good coaches ordinary donks with no real potential. Myself,  I know I have potential in whatever I want to do!  I will work to get better as I wrote in my previous post and if I would cash big in one mtt I wont let it go to my head!

My point being, I enjoy this game and even though I might not always makes the best decisions on the table I learn new things every day. Experience is worth more then one would think. Dosnt matter how many videos you watch or have many books you read if you lack experience. Might sound obvious but you would be surprised if you know how many self graduated experts we have in the world. And that goes for everything, not just poker.

Im realistic though so what happens, happens. Time will have to tell if Im good or not.

The truth is as we all know this; It will only depend on me and how much work and energy Im willing to commit to this wonderful game. The variance always even out in the end so the only one you can blame for bad stats in the end are yourself. I´m man enough to admit Im bad and super donkish if my stats would be bad after 2 years with big volumes of mtt playing.

I love myself no matter my faults, I don't get affected by some donks that has one major cash over 1k games and think that because of that they are all knowing. I do feel bad for people staking those donks though. The only reason that those type of player cashes must be because of good
coaches who could as easily made a first time poker player (with good work ethic) into a winning low stakes player.

So, now i got that of my chest. Haters gonna hate, I prefer to be nice and spread love instead.   Haha, sounds like a flower-power now but thats only when Im writing stuff, not IRL.

OMG it feels good to write on a blog when the poker goes bad. I value myself more than the dumb donks so Im happy to read my own blog even if Im the only one. Thats self confidence indeed!

I was kind of serious with my text but I like to end with something even more serious though;
Those players that cash consistently year after year are worth all the respect and I admire them and their professionalism. Everyone who plays poker knows how much it takes mentally and how smart and disciplined you need to be if you're going to join that rank. Thats why we call them Pros.

Good luck at the tables and be nice to each other.

Make the world a better better place

Regards

Peter
