Hi, dear blog readers and Poker School members! I must explain what happened on my two MTT sessions yesterday. I might as-well be honest with it and If anyone judges me Im okay with that. I still believe in myself so negative remarks without substance wont bother me. However, I do appreciate constructive critique or advices if someone would comment on this post.

To make a long story short, I would have been very likely that I would made more than one final-tables on both session that day but I didn't. Not because I was unlucky, but because of me. I was to tired to play even in the morning session so I shouldn't have played at all that day. I told myself before I started to play that I was well rested. I started to believe in it myself. Coffee and red bull wont make up for lost sleep... I kept myself awake with that instead of taking a well deserved nap.

I run insanely good on both sessions but that didn't matter. On the last sessions I was so tired that I called hands on the wrong table more than once. To put it short, only an idiot would have played that day!

Im in okay shape and don't have any medical problems like low energy or being tired in general. I was tired because Ive played poker on double session for a few days and slept to little and after a while you don't realize how the quality of your game becomes worse than a fish donk. It works for a few days to play long sessions but not in the long run if you're not use to it!

Somehow the day did end quite good anyway. When I was down to one table I finally could focus  more and a nice player told me to “slow down” in the chat. That had a enormous effect on me and my game. Than you for that

It ended up with me winning the tourney and get the focus I desperately needed. So the day did didn't end so bad after all. I might not have deserved it but Im thankful for it.

Today Im well rested for real and ready for showing of my A-game. Yesterday wont brake me, not a chance. Ive learnt something that day. That is one part of gaining poker experience.

Gl all and keep positive Take care of your health and well being. It will help you both in your life and on on the poker tables.

Regards

Peter
