 - Thoughts of misadventures, Good Calls flopping Silly Poker and 1st degree burns -

So this would be my first month taking part in the PokerSchool Leagues. And so far I've played in 20 or so of the open tournies and im currently placed around 4400 mark. My highest placed finish is 198. And with possibly the best burn out on the river ...

to KJ of suit ....

when I held Pocket Aces....

How you ask? Well like this....

Set of nines got flopped then that was epically followed by, not one but two kings ... I was all in before the river card burned and the sting of  KJ of suit hit home and smashed my best run in the tournament so far.

Robbed ... Gutted ... Evil Cow where pretty much my first thoughts, but these were pushed to one side with the grin that came accross my face along with a knowing half chuckle of but of course!

Because thats Poker ... Thats how she plays with and against you.  And its these moments after a bad beat that you have to find yourself smilling or chuckling the curse of the river to yourself
