So i recently stumbled upon this great site packed full of poker knowledge and ways to improve upon your game. Im kind of embarrassed i allowed myself to overlook this archive of poker riches as i signed up to pokerschool online 2 years ago and i only really realised what was here due to the omaha offer on stars.

So 2013 has been bitter sweet for me in terms of poker i gained my largest cash but experienced my second largest downswing coupled with some very near misses for great cash in 4-5 mtts one of which really but me on a downer but enough about the bad. Time for positives In the black 1.5k and in scheduled im in profit to the tune of 3.4k which is a hefty return on investment altho it did take me almost 2 years to turn a profit im glad i finally broke my duck.

This year i truly believe i will become a good and very profitable player the last few months have been strange in which i had 6k in my br but in honesty im not a rich guy and i cashed out a vast amount of it to help with everyday life altho i have reinvested quite heavily and with very poor br management i have now around 500 dollar br commited to poker however i have a very nice new car so i should be happy right?

So im over my honeymoon peroid after my first decent online score and im ready to grind my way back up with occasional well earned shot. I will be playing PLO, NLHE 180s, 45 mans and MTTs exclusively as im not a cash player (unless drunk and near a casino) :p

My dream this year is to earn enough money to clear my college debt being around 10k and enough to justify leaving my job ie another 10k so i guess 20k is my goal however im a realist and turning 500 into that will be quite challenging but im sure i have the ability and im going to really take on board any training i can get.

Also just to set a record for myself i would like for 1 month at least to hit gold star as i consistantaly hit silver star each month and i have fallen short once by only 200fpps which was a bit of a downer but im over it. i will update this when i have time as i work 3-4 nights a week and i try to juggle seing my girlfriend and getting in as many hours as possible at the table. If even one person enjoys this blog that would make me happy but if not at least i will have it to look back on in years to come.
