My Poker School Diary/Thoughts/Etc....

/Oct/2010

End of month

End of the month play has just been so stupid and sucky that it makes me want to quit the league.

Too many idiots, shovemonkeys who don't care about the league and are very vocal about it. Laughing as they shove all in with stupid cards, and force you to fold good hand or lose major points. They know it, and abuse the table for it. Just dumb donkey ass play and there is nothing that the PSO cares to do to stop it.

Had a player ranked about 9000 (cause I checked) go all in almost every hand, and overbet the table constantly because he admitted he didnt care and just wanted to bust people or take their chips. He finally got taken out, but he had did enough damage to my stack with his all in's on the river that it was impossible to recover from.

I just don't know if it is worth it anymore. I end up teaching myself, and through the friends I have made here. The school just seems to collect more players/members every month, but doesn't fail anyone for not improving their game. Hell at this point, they should charge 10cents a game just to limit the broke-ass shovemonkeys, and put something towards each persons VPP who plays in that game.

Just not happy with how things are, and how it looks like the future will play out here.
