My last two weeks

Hi everybody

I could not find the time to make a post last week but I did not play great so I have nothing to talk about . Lets focus on the positif things ! So I will talk about this weak instead.

On tuesday, I played again in a Open PokerSchool tournament. It went much better than the few I played the week before. I tried to play a very tight poker. So I am pretty sure that I missed some spots, where I could have made some chips but overall I am pretty happy. Afterall I busted after roughly 3 hours as 136th out of 10'000 players. Still no money but I am happy.

I like how I played this hand of . I do not know if it is the correct way to play it but at least I got good value out of it. If you have any advice on how I could have played it differently, please post them in the comments.

I learned from my last blog post. I did not register for the Open PokerSchool tournament of this evening as I again had not enough time to play it out. Instead I decided to try a $0.11 NL Hold'em tournament. I busted as 1'444th out of nearly 5'000 players. It is a decent result but not great. I missed the money by 400 bust outs as top 1'080 paid.

I do not have much to say about this tournament. But I have a hand I want to talk about. I really like to play small succcessif cards (for example  or ). I like them because it gives a lot of opportunities and the outcomes are not always obvious, which can lead to bigger pots. In general I only play those hands if the cards are suited but then I play them pretty aggressively. I do not know if it is a good way to play them. How would you play those hands ?

Here I had the opportunity to play  on the small blind. So I played it even thoug the cards were not suited. I am pretty satisfied with the result !

By the way, I am looking for a convenient way to review all my hands of a tournement. If you know any good way, please post a comment.

Thanks for reading. See you at the tables !
